Awesome weekend with nasa_texas at MSR Cresson! Michael and Sam on the podium again, joined by Steve after a 2 weekend hiatus. Great racing all down the pack with 10 guys showing up for the weekend.

What an awesome Hallett weekend! After 4 races, #11 Michael Mosty came out on top with the overall win. #54 Sam Crumpacker used his race craft to maintain second place despite the next two cars hot on his heels. After a race-long battle and several position exchanges, #55 Team Jordan came up ahead with the final podium spot from #50 Josh Sooknanan. Sam, Team Jordan, and Josh all crossed the finish line within 1.5s of each other.

Also an honorable mention for our CMC Slip-n-Flip team on their valiant effort in the event. Veterans Jonathan and Chris welcomed newcomers Ryan and David, sons of current CMC racers who rose to the challenge and put on a great showing.

Congrats to our top 3 for securing the podium, big thanks to the whole CMC crew for such a fun-filled weekend, and extremely grateful to have Randy English from the Rocky Mountain region join us. We had Matt and Peter join us last year, and Randy said he’ll bring them back next year.

Another CMC Hallett tradition: Midnight Ribs. Sean and Dave smoke the best ribs, with the best flavors, always ready at midnight. Even after an exhausting day of racing, we’ll power through to stay up for the ribs. Highlight of the weekend.

Starting in CMC before moving to American Iron and American Muscle Car Masters, Craig was always a core member of the Texas CMC group. Always smiling, laughing, and life of the party at every event. Craig is a dear friend to our group and he will be sorely missed. Gone too soon.
