BL Performance Horses offers horseback riding lessons for riders of all experience levels, from basic beginners lessons to advanced horsemanship lessons. Our lessons are designed to help riders build confidence, develop horsemanship skills, and create a strong partnership with their horse.

At BL Performance Horses, our main focus is horsemanship. Our goal is to teach riders not only how to ride, but how to effectively communicate with their horse through proper body language, seat, timing, and understanding!

We specialize in Reining, Ranch Riding, Horsemanship, and Western Pleasure. We do NOT offer any rodeo events.

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU DISMISS IN THE HORSE WORLD

The nervous beginner asking too many questions…
The girl riding the “average” horse…
The person with the old float, second-hand tack, and big dreams…
The quiet one standing on the fence watching and learning…

They may not look successful yet.
But not everyone starts with money, connections, confidence, or opportunities.

What the horse world needs more of is kindness.
People who encourage.
People who teach.
People who remember what it felt like to be new.

Stay humble.
Support people on the way up.
And never underestimate someone with heart, grit, and a dream bigger than their circumstances.

We had a great time at Silver Spurs Riders Club this weekend! 🤍🐴

Even with the power outage at the arena for more than half of the show and having to switch arenas last minute, the horses handled everything like champs! 🙌

Huge thank you to Lyndsie Warner for showing JJ in the halter classes for me! I may be 6 months pregnant and still riding, but I draw the line at running on foot through deep sand 🤣🤰🏼

Also super proud of another horse from our program this weekend — 2 year old filly, Mighty Sandbar got her very first horse show under her belt and exceeded all of our expectations! 🙌
