The SuperMoto race at Oklahoma Gold Rush Grand Prix an action packed and high speed race. A crazy pileup in the main 1000cc race, at the holeshot turn, pushed most of the team to mid pack. The crowded race course proved to be difficult for passing. There were 23 racers in the 1000cc class and 18 in the unlimited class.

We had an action packed weekend at Round 9 of TORN Racing. The team collectively got 3 holeshots, 4 podium finishes and 2 overall wins. The track opened up very quickly and formed deep ruts. This was caused by the fast lap times. With the shorter course, lappers became a major factor in the race. Shawn Hess dropped from the lead after an encounter with a lapper.

TORN Racing brought us another exciting weekend of racing at TexPlex Park. The track was extended from our last visit to this track. The new changes added a new dynamic to the race. The dust was a major obstacle to overcome, but the whole team managed to make it to the checkers.

TORN Racing RD8 brought some tight woods racing with a lot of steep terrain. Shawn Hess and Glenn Hess both got the holeshot and maintained their leads, securing a win in their classes. Patrick Shamblin worked his way from a 4th place start, all the way up to a 1st place finish.

Another double header in the books for Hess Motorsports Racing!!!

We started the weekend off at DIRT RIOT Rio Bonito Ranch, Junction, TX Central Round 3. The track was full of rocks, creeks and boulders. Many high speed sections brought a great mix to the race course.

Our second stop for the weekend brought us to TORN Racing at Village Creek Motocross Park. With the high change of rain in the forecast, the track was shortened to reduce chances of muddy sections. The track was a mix of woods, fields and motocross sections.

We had two action packed weekends of racing. The TexPlex Park race was short course style with big payouts on the line. The tight racing caused collisions that damaged some of the teams UTV's.

TORN Racing Legacy Farms brought high temps and a lot of dust. The track had some tight woods that bottled up the racers at times. Shawn Hess had a cotter pin failure that caused him to slow his pace to finish the race. The team pushed through to get three podium finishes.
