Age: 6th grade through 12th grade
Cost/session - $5/person ($10/family max)

Congratulations to the Hornets Varsity Soccer team for their finish as Gold Champion runner-ups in Division II at the National Homeschool Soccer Championship in Chattanooga, TN. Last year we were Div III Gold Champions so it's very impressive to move up a division this year and make the championship game again.

Thanks to all the players and families who came for tryouts. We now have four teams! Tonight there is a practice for all teams at Fairway Christian Reformed Church (1165 44th St SW, Jenison, MI 49428). If you search for "Hornets Soccer Club" in Google maps this is where it will take you.

👉🏼High School boys👈🏼 Please wear tennis shoes that are comfortable to run in (not cleats) for this night’s practice.

We also ask that you plan to attend our mandatory parent meeting. At this meeting we will share important club expectations, procedures, principles, volunteer commitments, tournament information, as well as finalize season payments and uniform orders. We will stagger our meeting times:

Junior High parents: 6:15-6:45
High School parents: 7:15-7:45

Payments and paperwork will be taken care of before and after these time slots.

If you are unable to attend the parent meeting you will need to contact us right away to arrange a makeup meeting and ensure that your uniform order is able to be placed on time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at placement/tryouts on Mon, Aug 4 and Tue, Aug 5 from 6-8pm at Lamar Park. Our numbers are really full now (a great thing!) so it's important everyone make an effort to come.

It will be at Marquette Park in Wyoming.

For our Junior High camp, we will be meeting for one week on Mon, Tues, and Thursday from 6 to 8p.m. with a cost of $60 per participant.

For our High School camp, we will be meeting for one week Mon. through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a cost of $100 per participant.

The max total cost is $225 per family.

These camps are open to all upcoming 6th through 12th grade boys and are not necessarily limited to homeschoolers.

SPRING TRAINING:
For those boys who plan to participate with us for next year's JV and Varsity levels (9th-12th grade), we are offering some spring training sessions. April 22, 29 and May 6, 13, 20 from 6 to 8 pm at the Davies home (although a change is possible). Similar to our indoor sessions, there is a $5 cost per session ($10 family max).

At the National Homeschool Soccer Tournament in Chattanooga, the Hornets Varsity team came away with a 1st place finish in Division three. It was a thrilling penalty kick shootout! We are looking forward to next year but are still celebrating this momentous achievement.

Camp will take place June 10th, 11th, 13th, 17th, 18th, and 20th. (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). The cost for camp will be $75 per player or $200 for a family of three or more, and the camp will take place at the Fairway CRC field from 6 to 8 p.m. Early registration will ensure that your son receives a camp shirt in his correct size.
