Wild is an evaluation-based competitive basketball program. Players are evaluated based on their current skill level, and teams are formed each year with the goal of creating the best overall fit for players and teams. Team makeup may change from year to year as players grow and develop.

Whether your child is looking for a shorter recreational season through Jenison Youth Basketball (JYB) or is interested in being evaluated for Jenison Wild, we’ve put together the guide below to help you compare the two programs.

It's hard to believe, but the school year is almost over! 🏀

That means it's time to start thinking about basketball season. Registration is now open for Jenison Wild Basketball Evaluations for boys and girls who will be entering grades 3–6 this fall and attend Jenison Public Schools.

Evaluation Dates:
• Girls going into 3rd & 4th Grade: August 23 at 5:15 PM
• Girls going into 5th & 6th Grade: August 23 at 6:45 PM
• Boys going into 3rd & 4th Grade: August 30 at 5:15 PM
• Boys going into 5th & 6th Grade: August 30 at 6:45 PM

These evaluations help determine the best placement for each player and provide an opportunity to learn more about our Jenison Wild and Jenison Youth Basketball programs.
