Pure joy, pure fun! Join Big John as he takes a fine Concordia Parish buck with his buddy, Craig Hawn! This was his first buck in a couple years, and it's a good thing there are no penalties for excessive celebration in hunting like there are in football! Inside, Big John gives lessons on his new method of rattling in bucks and shows off his magic, homegrown buck-attractant technique.

Big John got his first deer of the 2021-22 season! A great day that ended late last night with his doe being recovered by aid of a bloodhound. We thought all hope was lost, so finding her was an emotional event! Thank you Hope Outdoors for a wonderful hunt!

Grandpa let him shoot! Dropped him in his tracks. John Austin is 25 years old and this is his first buck to ever kill on our own place which we’ve owned since 1991. “Why let him shoot a buck like this?” Because he wanted to badly and because we wanted to let him, that simple! He was beyond excited! No video, just Big John and his grandpa having a great time together. “Meat on the table!”
