10 years of showing up.
10 years of putting in the work.
10 years of trusting me with his health.
That kind of consistency is rare — and it deserves to be celebrated the right way.
So I got him a 10-year bottle of whiskey.
You know
 health.
But here’s my favorite part—
We had the VIP Fitness logo engraved right into the bottle.
Not just a gift
 something permanent.
A reminder of what 10 years of consistency looks like.
Because that’s what this really is.
Not luck.
Not motivation.
Just showing up, over and over again.
Now I’m just wondering

Was it made the same year he first walked through our doors?

I had a conversation this week with a new member whose goal is weight loss. He showed me his food log: a protein donut for breakfast, low-fat cream cheese and low-carb pasta for dinner.

Listen, I’m not anti-substitution
 but a lot of these “diet” foods are just bland versions of the real thing.

And isn’t it wild how everything is now “High Protein”? Most of the time it’s 1–2 extra grams — but it sells.

I asked if he was eating vegetables. He said yes
 but looked like he bit into a lemon. Turns out he mostly eats steam-in-bag veggies.

Better than nothing? Yes.
Delicious? Not really.

I told him, “You don’t hate vegetables. You hate how you’re cooking them. Have you tried roasting them?”

That became his first goal: roast vegetables this week.

Small shifts matter. Challenge the beliefs like “I hate veggies” or “I can’t do that.” That’s how you break the loop.

One trick I use? Bagged salads. Not perfect — but easy. I’ll add chickpeas or cucumber to upgrade it.

The biggest win? It slows me down. If I eat a salad before frozen pizza, I might eat one less slice.

That’s a small win. And small wins compound.

This week, roast a veggie. If you already eat them, try a new recipe.

If you really want to change your life, you have to start by changing your habits. You become the things that you do. We want you to improve your life by doing the RIGHT things without thinking about them.

And we’re going to do it together. Because change is hard, we’re going to support you with coaching and a peer group like only VIP Fitness can.

This is the Golden Habits Challenge:

0 Sweet Treats
0 Alcohol
60 minutes of movement daily.
250 words of journaling daily

None of these habits are easy. The first few days without extra sugar are going to be a challenge. And that’s why we’re going through it together. We can leverage the power of the group for accountability.

The biggest barrier to success will be in your own head. To help, we’ve added a price and a prize.

First, the challenge costs $99. REGISTER HERE. The price is there to get you coaching, but mostly to hold you accountable. It’s just barely costly enough for you to take it seriously. But you can do it: bet on yourself.

Second, tracking. You’re going to record your success every day on a simple pen-and-ink tracking sheet. You’ll post this on your refrigerator or somewhere else in your home.

Third, the prize: the golden VIP Fitness t-shirt. You can’t buy these: you have to earn them. You earn one by hitting 90% compliance (or 108 checked boxes) on your tracking sheet.

Fourth, the future: at the end of the challenge, you’ll sit down with your coach, look at your Habits tracking, and get your next steps
