Vermont Canoe and Kayak

Vermont Canoe and Kayak offers guests both guided and unguided tours on the Lamoille River.

Guided Tour Descriptions:
*All rentals and tours start at the Vermont Canoe and Kayak Outpost. We ask that guests arrive 20 minutes prior to their tour.*

NEW! S’mores Tour-Summer isn’t complete without roasting s’mores. What better way to celebrate Summer than a paddle on the river, stopping along the way to roast marshmallows on one of the sandy beaches. 2.5/3 hr. tour

Maple Tour- A visit to Vt is not complete without experiencing and tasting maple! This tour takes you down river from VCK where a shuttle takes you to the Vt Maple Outlet. Learn how maple syrup is made, enjoy a maple creemee and maple treats! Ice Cream Float- combines an hour and a half of paddling in canoes with a stop on one of the many beach areas to enjoy your choice of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream on the river and take an optional swim. Tour Time- 2.5 Hours

Kayaks and Cocktails- Paddle down the Lamoille river in your choice of single or tandem kayaks. Top off your trip with a visit to the Smugglers' Notch Distillery in Jeffersonville where you will be treated to a cocktail and tasting of their quality spirits including vodka, gin, rum and bourbon. Tour Time- 3 Hours

Morning River Kayak- An excellent start to your day. Your guide will take you down a 4.5 mile scenic stretch of river at a leisurely pace. You'll have your choice of single or tandem kayaks. This is a great opportunity for beginning kayak paddlers with little or no experience to enjoy the river. We also have single kayaks for children 8 and older !!! Tour Time- 2 Hours

NEW! Hike/Climb/Paddle- VCK has partnered with Sunrise Mountain Guides to provide a day of outdoor adventure. Customize your own adventure suited to your abilities and needs. Start either with a morning hike or rock climb, then paddle your way down river at your own pace. E-bikes & Boats- Combine two of the best outdoor activities and see VT from a different view. Your journey will take you down the scenic Lamoille River Rail Trail to VCK. Paddle a 4.5 mile stretch of the Lamoille back to where your E-bike will be waiting to complete your full circle of adventure. VCK Pricing:

-Canoes- Up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children (comb. wt.150lbs)- $75.00/day
