2017 Momac Cancer Paddle-a-thon had our best year to date.
Recreational boaters and racers both enjoyed the warm weather.
Solo kayaker John Lazenby of Montpelier led the way. Carol and Clyde Yarnell of Alburgh followed in their canoe as fastest Tandem [C2 Mix]. Dan Rooney of Waterville led the way for the solo canoe pack [C1], while his wife Patti Rooney led the woman's solo kayak charge [K1w]. Recreational paddlers like the Green's and DeLallo's came from as far as California and Texas.
Silent Auction, Registration and Awesome Donations from our over 50 area Businesses helped raise over $3000.00 for the cause.
