Our first group into the interior and fringe of the Colombian Amazon explored the CAÑO BOCÓN, GUAINÍA for 7 days in mid February. Fishing conditions were not the most favorable with unstable water levels but we came away with a more that sufficient sampling of the fishery to draw us back again in the future to this extremely remote black water river. There are truly some Pavon and Payara Monsters in this fishery! The overall river camp(s) experience was positive, the indigenous community and peoples helpful and friendly and the overall trip received 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 from the group.

A complete fishin* and travel report of the Colombian Exploratory will be posted on the ARA web site soon.
