🌟 PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Henry Boudreau Jr. 🌟

Some accomplishments deserve a little extra recognition!
This Summer 2026 session, Henry Boudreau Jr. pulled off a combination of achievements that I haven't personally seen during my two years as a league operator:

🎱 8-Ball Break & Run
🎱 8 on the Break
🎱 Rackless Match
🎱 Team Clean Sweep

All in the same night!

I've known Henry since he was 10 years old, and when he turned 21, I invited him to join one of my pool teams. That invitation helped start what has become a 17-year APA journey.

Today, Henry lives in Bangor and has continued his Maine APA career there over the years. This session, however, he decided to join us in Eastern Maine APA, making the drive to Ellsworth on Monday nights and Belfast on Wednesday nights to compete in our 8-Ball divisions.

Not only is that a significant commitment to the game, but he's making the most of it at the table.

Congratulations, Henry, on an outstanding accomplishment and a well-earned collection of patches. We're glad you've chosen to spend part of your APA journey with Eastern Maine APA, and we're looking forward to seeing what you accomplish next.

Huge shoutout to ALLPLaY in Belfast for hosting yesterday's 9 Ball Best Chance Boards and to Dana Ouellette for running the boards. We had 16 players between both boards. The atmosphere was full of friendly competition and sportsmanship, with 6 standout players advancing to the Singles Regional in October.

We are setting up another oportuntiy for you to earn your spot in the October Singles Regional. This board is 8 Ball and may be seperated by handicap if possible. We have 2 players signed up already and have 6 spots left to fill the first board. Use the link to sign up and secure your spot. This is being hosted at Bears Den Billiards Saturday, June 6th. Doors open at 12 and play will start at 1.

Bears Den is also holding a benefit carwash that morning. So, players could qualify and leave with a clean vehicle!

This is a Best Chance Board. We need 8 players to sign up and fill a board. 3 Players will qualify for the Singles Regional being held in October. The brackets are organized by APA Skill Level from the top down, all 2s then 3s then 4s, etc. Most of the matches will be played against same skill level...

Sending heartfelt wishes and positive energy to Gary Stanley and his loved ones, we recently learned from his team captain that Gary was involved in a motorcycle accident over the weekend and is presently receiving care at the Eastern Maine Medical in Bangor, fortunately in stable condition; our sincere hope is for a speedy and complication-free recovery.

✨ Outstanding Sportsmanship Award (League-Wide)

This award goes to one team across the entire league that truly represents respect, fairness, and great sportsmanship all session long.

🎯 Sportsmanship Patch (Division-Based)

Each division will nominate their favorite team

👉 The team with the most nominations in each division will receive a Sportsmanship Patch for every player on that team

🌟 INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

💫 Spirit of the League Award –
The player who embodies what APA is all about: fun, community, and love of the game.

😄 Good Vibes Award – The one who brings positivity, laughter, and energy wherever they go.

💪 Above & Beyond Award – Someone who steps up, helps others, and gives more than expected.

🏆 Each of these awards will be given to one individual at the tournament this June in Belfast at Allplay.
