Thank you New River Conservancy for hosting the BEST attended New River Canoe Race in recent years - with 90 participants and over 20 volunteers it was an AWESOME day!

Zaloos would like to thank the New River Conservancy for bringing the New River Canoe Race back. This year's race was a great success! This race has been part of the New River's Story of survival against the proposed dam, which was finally defeated in 1976. The New River Conservancy, the New River State Park, and Zaloos are all still here fifty years later, looking after this treasure.
