Jefferson Youth Wrestling — Open Mats Tonight!

All are welcome — new and returning wrestlers!
Come try it out and see what we’re about.

Location: Jefferson Athletic Building (next to the high school by the football field)
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 PM

Open Mats Tonight!

All are welcome — no experience needed!
Bring your kids to try it out and see if they like it!

👶 Who: Grades K–6 (older welcome too)

Common Questions:

Gear: Wrestling shoes are great, but not required. Socks are fine until you decide to stick with it. We also have a used shoe bin available.

What to Bring: Water bottle and a good attitude.

Alongside our High School/Junior High Open Mats, we will be hosting pre-season wrestling training.

Lucas Powers wins the League Championships at 82 pounds!

Memphis Coccitto took 2nd place at 49 pounds!

This is not an easy tournament and just being able to qualify speaks to a fantastic season!

Information for League Championships on Sunday

Timing:
7:30am - Doors Open to the public (concessions will be open)
8-9:00am - Weigh-ins, 4 scales
9:30am - Wrestling start time
About 3:30pm - Parade of Champions and finals begin

Admission (CASH ONLY at the door):
$10 for adults
$5 for Seniors (65 and up)
Free for kids 13 and under
Coaches are free provided you show your USA coaches card (we will be sticklers about this)
Coaches and wrestlers will be the only ones allowed on the competition floor (all spectators will be on the 2nd level)
Spire has a no outside food policy but concessions stand will be open
