After long thoughts and talks we have decided to cut hours at the shop. It has been over 20s year working 6 days a week and we are getting a little tired of having only 1 day off. I know a lot will say Sundays are only 3 hours but sometimes customers come in at the last knocking and stay for 1-2 hours. Plus a day without interruptions means we can concentrate on builds, conversions or naps. I think we deserve another day off so starting November 29th we will be closed on Sundays. It will take time for people to get used to it and maybe a little hurt but it is a big adjustment for all. So
Open Tuesday-Friday 10-6, Saturdays 9-4 starting November 29th

Just read an article about a new law that passed in New Jersey regarding e-bikes. This is not the first place to create laws in response to the crazy growth in this sector. So pay attention to your travels and laws of the land. In short this is what the law says.

Categorized as motorized bicycle requiring registered bikes, obtain license and liability insurance.
Pedal assist only (no throttle) up to 20mph no insurance required but must be 15 years old and obtain an e-bike license if not having a driver license and register it.
Class 2 with throttle assist speed of 28mph must purchase liability insurance, have a license/e-bike, register bikes and some cities require helmets, must be 15.
No mention on class 3 or 4.
So in short check on laws before you ride. Katy trail and Greenway are class 1&2 only, 20mph and up to 750 watt motor.

In honor of mother's around the world we wish you a happy mother's day. We have also chosen to be closed this mother's day, Sunday May 10th. After 23 years we have decided to give ourselves more time off and this is just one of the many holidays we have decided to have. Look for more updates in the future for our times off.

UPDATE: Trail work will NOT be occurring April 20-23rd. Enjoy the trail!

We are working on resurfacing parts of the Katy Trail!
This does mean that the Katy Trail will be CLOSED from MP 88.8 (Bernheimer Rd) to MP 96.8 (Massas Creek) to allow us time and space to conduct this vital work.
This closure will be in effect from Monday, April 13th, through Thursday, April 16th. Then again starting Monday, April 20th, through Thursday, April 23rd.
