Mid Mo Snappers 14U travel softball team dedicated to the ideals of the late Otho Smith.

Still wishing we saw more Snappers softball yesterday!

Snappers finished with a 3-1 weekend with the last game being unfinished after less than 2 innings of play.

We are looking forward to Branson this weekend - if the weather will cooperate…

Update: The semifinal game was called due to rain and rest of the tournament was canceled due to rain and field conditions.

We are bummed we didn’t get to see how the rest of the day would have played out but are excited to be back on the field in Branson next weekend for a 3 day tournament in the USSSSA Ozark Classic Tournament.

Snappers had a nail-biter first game with a tiebreaker win in the bottom of the 5th inning! Arriah (two hits for the game) was placed on 2nd base per international tiebreaker rules, Avery came up and laid down a beautiful sacrifice bunt to move the runner, and Brylee (3 hits for the game and an outstanding performance on the mound) secured the win with a single through the infield to send the Snappers to the semifinal game!

What a weekend! The Snappers had a few come from behind wins today and their defense kept them in their games.

💚The work they put in to each and every practice was evident in so many ways today, from the outfield making huge plays to situational infield moves to excellent baserunning, the girls looked sharp all the way around!
🖤Our pitchers worked hard and kept hitters guessing while our rockstar catcher caught all three games like a beast!
🤍When we say it was a TEAM win, it truly took every player. We are so proud!💚
