Mid Mo Snappers 16U travel softball team dedicated to the ideals of the late Otho Smith.

In his honor, our team is committed to continuing his legacy of sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, and confidence to prepare each player to become outstanding women of our future.

The season came to an end with a loss to a tough 16u team in the semifinals. Our girls didn’t give up and gave it their all, scoring more against their final opponent than that team had given up in all their previous 3 games. There’s so much to be proud of this season and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!

Mid MO Snappers 14U Impressive In Win Against Midwest Blazers 16U

Mid MO Snappers 14U easily dispatched Midwest Blazers 16U, 17-2.

Mid MO Snappers 14U got on the board in the top of the first inning after an error scored one run, Emma Pratt singled, scoring two runs, and Chloe Hodges induced Addi Templeton to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

An error, and a fielder's choice by Pratt helped Mid MO Snappers 14U extend their early lead in the second.

Mid MO Snappers 14U added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Layla Bautista hit into a fielder's choice, Victoria Dunlap grounded out, Haley Wilde grounded out, and Avery Hill doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Mid MO Snappers 14U scored six runs on two hits in the top of the fourth inning. Bautista drew a walk, scoring one run, Jaco induced Dunlap to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, an error scored one run, Arriah Edwards doubled, scoring two runs, and Hill grounded out, scoring one run.

Brylee Eubanks led things off in the circle for Mid MO Snappers 14U. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and two runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out eight and walking one. Hodges led things off in the circle for Midwest Blazers 16U. The starting pitcher gave up nine hits and 11 runs (five earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking one.

Mid MO Snappers 14U amassed 11 hits in the game. Edwards, Hill, and Templeton each collected two hits for Mid MO Snappers 14U. Edwards, Dunlap, Pratt, and Hill each drove in two runs for Mid MO Snappers 14U. Eubanks stole two bases.
