Join the Helias Catholic High School Shotgun Sports Team

Looking for a new challenge, a competitive sport, and a great team experience? Shotgun sports may be for you.

Our team is open to everyone—boys and girls, experienced shooters and complete beginners alike. No previous shooting experience is necessary, and you do not need to own any equipment to get started.

Athletes learn proper firearm safety, shotgun fundamentals, discipline, focus, sportsmanship, and competitive clay-target shooting in a structured team environment.

Whether you want to compete, learn a new skill, or simply try something different, we encourage you to come see what shotgun sports is all about.

No experience necessary. No equipment necessary. Everyone is welcome.

Hey, Helias Athletes and Incoming Freshmen! Are you ready for SST season to start? We will be meeting soon to layout our 2026-2027 program for you.

Did you know this is our eleventh season with more than 250 student athletes graduating from our program. Several with substantial college/university scholarships.

Anyone who knows of an athlete looking for a team to be a part of at Helias Catholic can contact us on Facebook or by email at [email protected] with telephone number an email address so we can keep you up to date.

No experience is necessary.....No firearm is necessary to start. We can provide the necessary instruction, training, equipment and supplies for new athletes.

Captured this following the bus home from a competition a couple weeks ago. Seems fitting to post today as Gavin Wilson (aka G-Willy) and William Boyer wave goodbye to this chapter and cross the stage at graduation into the next one. Moments like this are so bittersweet. Congratulations boys! Go get ‘em!

The team enjoyed its annual year end awards and fun shoot! Besides the Varsity Letter awards, the coaches got in a few “awards” of their own! Always a good gathering, sharing a meal and celebrating success! This year took on Parent challenges as athletes and parents both hit the range for some friendly competition and a LOT of smack talk!
