Congrats to Linda Struemph for being Member of the Month for our Honey Creek location!
After spending more than 30 years in St. Elizabeth, MO, Linda and her husband Roy recently built a new home, on a farm, in her hometown of Brinktown. Linda and Roy have 3 children: Trevor (30), Kayla (27) and Mara (23). Linda is retired from the State of Missouri, and now works for the Missouri Bankers Association as a Office Support Services Coordinator. Being retired and having a part time job allows Linda to concentrate more on family, daily farm shenanigans, crafts, and her personal well-being. This is what fitness means to Linda: "To me, fitness is about overall health and well-being. When people look at me, my physique may not match the image typically featured in fitness magazines. That is one of the reasons I love Ignite Fitness and Performance. They do not expect perfection, nor do they promote restrictive diets as the price of belonging to the gym community. Instead, they meet you where you are and help cultivate realistic, consistent, and sustainable lifestyle habits that strengthen each person's overall health."
Here is what Linda has to say about Ignite: "A comment from a fellow gym member sums it up well: 'When you don't feel like going to the gym is when you need it the most.' That sentiment perfectly captures what makes Ignite Fitness and Performance special. I especially appreciate the small classes, where Chad ensures I am performing each exercise correctly to gain strength, mobility, and confidence. The focus is not just on exercise, but on helping each person become the best version of themselves in a supportive and encouraging environment.
For me, that support and accountability make the difference. Ignite Fitness and Performance has shown me that fitness is not about achieving perfection. It is about making the commitment to focus on the long-term gains."
