There is a fresh energy buzzing around the Jay Boys Bulldog Basketball program this season as the school welcomes two new faces to run the show: Head Coach Jeff Oxford and Assistant Coach Jake Walkingstick. Both men bring an impressive wealth of playing experience, a deep passion for mentoring, and a shared vision for building a culture of success both on and off the court.
Both coaches are incredibly eager about the potential of this year’s roster. Coach Oxford is thrilled by the blend of a talented senior class and eager underclassmen who are highly motivated to be pushed to their limits in the gym. Coach Walkingstick shares that excitement, pointing to the team's strong sense of "togetherness" as a major asset. He notes that the players genuinely enjoy being around each other and have built strong relationships over time.
