Dragons wrestler, Silas Stanley, noted as a workhorse in Team GA’s 14U Dual lineup! 🐉

TEAM GA’s 14u team heads to Wesley Chapel Florida, June 9–12 with a lineup that has toughness, experience, and national level talent.

Leading the way for Team Georgia is Gideon Batchelor, Chase Downing, Aviyahn Mills, and Silas Stanley. They are the workhorses of the lineup.

Gideon Batchelor and Silas Stanley both bring high level national experience, toughness and the proven ability to win. Silas Stanley brings USA Wrestling All-American honors that he achieved at this year’s National Championships along with the ability to turn up the aggression to secure a win. Gideon brings a Pitbull mentality with high level technique that gives him a chance to win against any opponent he faces.

Chase Downing and Aviyahn Mills add proven championship credentials to the group. Both have captured National Championship titles. Chase Downing brings NHSCA All-American honors and All-American status from this same event last year along with a style of wrestling and aggression that can fluster any opponent. If there is time left on the clock, he is threat. Aviyahn Mills also enters with NHSCA All-American credentials, highlighted by his most recent national title at this year’s NHSCA along with many other national level titles. His fast paced technical style can have him up big early while still having the ability to dig deep in a tight match.

Having Downing and Mills holding back to back spots in the lineup is tough and might just be the best 1-2 punch on any team in this years event. Adding both Batchelor and Stanley to spots below 110lbs, should lead to a strong start to each dual. If that strong start can rally a young but experienced upper weight lineup, the Team GA 14u team could make a good run at this years event.

Additional wrestlers to watch are Benton Delia and Raymond Brown, both have the potential to deliver breakout performances and swing important matches for Georgia.

🏆 HARD WORK IS PAYING OFF! 🏆

Congratulations to Dragons wrestlers Dawson Rau and Silas Stanley on being selected to represent Team Georgia on the 14U National Duals Team!

The team will compete this week in Wesley Chapel, Florida (Tuesday–Friday), taking on some of the best wrestlers from across the country.

We are incredibly proud of Dawson and Silas for earning this opportunity to represent Georgia and our Dragons family on the national stage.
