Sam Rayburn treated us good this week. Came out strong on Day 1 with a solid bag and put ourselves in 4th place. Day 2 didn’t start how we wanted, but we kept our heads down and grinded it out, making the most of every opportunity we had. Ended up 15th on Day 2.

This one means a little more though — last tournament fishing alongside my brother before he graduates. Blessed for the time on the water together and everything this sport has given us.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

Got the win on the Sabine River with 12.72. It was a grind from start to finish—one of those days where every bite mattered and nothing came easy. Conditions were tough with the wind making it even harder to stay on them, but we just kept trusting the process and fishing clean.

Late in the day we got the bite we needed—a 5.69 that really changed everything. That fish was a blessing and the difference maker for us. In a tournament like this, you don’t get many opportunities, so we’re beyond thankful we capitalized on the one that counted.

To come out on top against this kind of competition means a lot, and I truly believe God had His hand in it the whole way through. None of this happens without Him.

Blessed to get the win and even more blessed to qualify for the B.A.S.S. Masters Nationals. On to the next one.

18th out of 300 teams at Toledo Bend with 16.33 on the scales — we smashed them this weekend 🎣 Truly thankful for all the blessings God gave us out there. Every cast, every bite, and every moment on the water was a reminder of how good He is. We’re grateful for the opportunity, the experience, and the chance to do what we love surrounded by His creation. Praying He continues to bless us with more days like this and keeps us humble and thankful no matter the outcome.

Sorry I don’t know why it deleted the original post.

This past weekend was one for the books. We spent the whole weekend on the water, grinding it out and having a great time doing what we love. Long days, early mornings, and a lot of laughs made it a trip we won’t forget. The fishing had its ups and downs, but the experience and memories made it all worth it.

We ended up finishing 20th with a total weight of 10.66—not the finish we were aiming for, but we still walked away proud. We locked in second place Big Bass with a 6.27, which was a huge highlight and made the weekend even sweeter. Learned a lot, had a blast, and we’ll be back stronger next time. 🎣💪

Back on Sam Rayburn this weekend for back-to-back tournaments in some very tough conditions.

Saturday at the SETX Opener brought active frontal conditions and a difficult bite, but we were able to put together three fish for 11.56 lbs, finishing 23rd overall and bringing in the second-biggest bass of the event with a 6.02 lb fish.

Sunday’s DETX Q4 Tournament followed with cold, windy, post-frontal conditions. We were able to locate fish and get the bites needed to cross the scales, finishing 6th with 12.40 lbs.

Grateful to be on the water and thankful to God for every opportunity, every bite, and the lessons that come with days like these.

Sam Rayburn was a challenge this weekend. I couldn’t quite find the key bite I needed, and the patterns kept shifting as the day went on. I covered water, stayed patient, and took what the lake was willing to give. I ended the day with 12.14 for 18th place, and I’m grateful for every fish that made it to the boat.

Fishing solo this time reminded me how much goes into every cast and every decision. It also reminded me how blessed I am to have a brother who shares this passion with me. I missed having him in the boat on Saturday, and I’m ready to have him back beside me for the next one.

More than anything, I’m thankful for the opportunity to be out there, to learn, to compete, and to grow. Not every tournament ends with the result you want, but every one of them teaches something you can carry forward in life.

All glory to God, always, for through him all things are possible.

TBN Q2 – Toledo Bend
After an amazing morning bite, it turned into a grinder for the rest of the day. The bite slowed down, and we lost a few key fish, but God provided as always. We ended up finishing 6th and even took home an amazing surprise door prize — a Bates Hundo reel with some incredible artwork on it.

We fished the DETX Q2 on Sam Rayburn this past weekend and finished 13th out of 119 boats with 13.73 lbs. The lake’s still really low and conditions were tough, but we were blessed to find a few solid bites and put together a good bag.
All glory to God for the opportunity to do what we love and for keeping us safe on the water. We’ll be back at it this weekend for the Texas Bass Nation Q2 on Toledo Bend and praying for another strong day.

That’s a wrap, 2025 season has come to a close. Clarks Hill was a blast, we made a few mistakes and missed some key fish, but managed to cross the scales both days! There is still so much to learn, and we are grateful to have this chance! God is good every day!!!

This past weekend brought its challenges, but we’re proud of how it all came together — and as always, we give all the glory to God for the opportunity, the strength, and the growth throughout this season.

Day 1 hit hard. Strong northwest winds and a flood of fresh water made for tough conditions. We battled through it and managed 9.25 lbs on 4 fish.

But on Day 2, we regrouped, made the necessary adjustments, and got after it. We fought through the wind and waves and put together a solid bag of 17.68 lbs, which landed us 12th overall in the championship.

This finish wraps up a fantastic season for us. We’ve grown as a team, learned from every high and low, and we’re walking away from this one thankful — for the journey, the support, and most of all, the grace God continues to show us on and off the water.
