Well, no one burned during the tourney. Rain during the day cooled the heat made for a beautiful night! Had less but enthusiast folks
First Place: Wyatt Lejeune and Papa Paul Peters hauled a heavy bag greenies that went 12.84 lbs on the scale. They were showing a bunch of teeth!
Second Place: The ever consistent guys Red Hunter D’Aquila and Kyle the Killer Kyle Bergeron came in with a 4.75 hawg that bumped their string weight up to 9.23. Must have struggled a bit besides the biggun!
Thanks to all that came out! Beats taking care of the kids for 5 hours! Be careful out there and use those kill switches!

Pretty nice night! Eleven boats but still looking for more! Good to see the folks that did make it! A lot of folks struggled but had some good strings!
First Place: Kyle Bergeron and Hunter D’Aquila brought in a very nice bag! Five pretty bass that put a strain on the scale. They went 14.40!
Second Place: Paul Peters and Wyatt Lejeune weren’t at all embarrassed, with 12.31 pounds. They had a very pretty girl that went 4.22 pounds as well that fattened their pockets!
Third Place: Blaine Weber and James Didier had 11:31 pounds of pretty Bass! Winners on some nights.
Don’t forget to get the word around about The Cookie Jar! Have a great week and be careful out there. They are out to get you! Use your kill switches!

A little drop in numbers this week! Some folks out of town for Memorial Day. Speaking of Memorial Day, the wake boats ate our lunch! Only thing worse was the danger bugs! Let’s do this!
First Place: Kyle Bergeron and Hunter D’Aquila lugged in a bag that went 14.7 that was topped off with a beautiful bass that bent the scales at 5.79 pounds! Wow!
Second Place: Rance Guerin and Eric Rome were all smiles with their limit that went 12.09 on the scales! Nice Job!
Always nice to see all the boats bringing in limits. This whole group knew how to get the fish out of False River when a lot of good fishermen can’t! Have a great week and be careful! A lot of drinking going on out there you know!

A nice crowd and a nice night! Great! Some nice strings on the top! Yes sir!
First Place: The Lone Ranger with no kemosabe, Paul Peters jumped all over the money. Had 12.59 pounds of pretty green trout anchored by a 3.51 bigun!
Second place: With another nice bag was Henry Newchurch and Doc Radz. Good to see these guys. Anyway, they were pleased with their bag as well. 11.16 pounds with a big of 3.51 pounds!
How does this keep on happening?
Third Place: Not to be too outdone was Blaine Weber and James Didier with another 5 that was real close at 11.08 pounds! Good job guys!
Sure beats watching the b**b tube on Friday don’t it. Glad to see more boats but don’t stop advertising. Mo money, mo money! Be careful out there and come on out again Friday! Use those kill switches please!

Looks like the rain scared a few people off but not for our diehards!
They show come rain or shine! Turned out dry and a good night! Ha!
First Place: Speaking of die hards. A one armed Kyle Bergeron and his bud Hunter D’Aquila showed to bring in a very nice string that weighed in at 13.8 pounds! Nice green trout! Good job young men.
Second Place: Mr Bass Cat, David Plunket and Chris VOSBURG joined up and brought in a nice bag of greenies that weighed in at a very respectable 11.4 pounds!
Big Bass: The two boats had identical weights that were twinkies at 3.8 pounds. Don’t think I’ve seen that before!
Going to leave you with a bit of knowledge. The Largemouth Bass (Micropterus Salmoides) is the only species I know of that can change sexes to achieve balance and
make a body of water more productive!

Tournement 5

Well it was Good Friday and for our fishermen, all bringing in limits, it was a very Good Friday!
First place: Paul Peters and Wyatt Lejeune were grinning ear to ear coming up the pier. They had good reason. A “wow” bag-o-bass that went 16.4 pounds! Whew!
Second Place: David Plunket and Chris Vosburg had a heavy looking bag as well! Their limit went 13 pounds of fish that I would take on any night! Good job!
Third Place: Chad Dauthier, flying solo did a little double dip into the cookie jar! 12.12 pounds for his limit and a beautiful 5.8 pound girl to top it off for BB money!
The tournament is having a pretty good run! Could have some more boats for better payouts, but heck most of us would be here money or not. Have a great Easter with your families guys! Stay safe and see you Friday. Use those kill switches!

Great night for a change! Light breezes, enough to keep the bugs off! Had 10 boats! Double digits! Dang lot better than watching the b**b tube!
First Place: Hunter D’Aqila and Cade Baum ambled to the gazebo with a nice limit. They had a full bag o bass that went 12.10 lbs on the scale! Pretty bass!
Second place: Mister Paul Peters and Wyatt Lejeune weren’t humbled a bit. Their string went 12.10 pounds which was topped off by a beautiful 5.6 pound girl. Job well done men!
Third Place: David Plunket and Chris Osterberger was proud as well! Their 5 went 11.10 pounds! Would take that most any Friday! Whoop there it is!
Really nice night for everyone! 60% of the boats had limits! Great to see boat numbers are going up! Stay safe and sane on the highways of our beautiful state. Use that kill switch, the save lives. See everyone next week!

Let’s get this road on the show! Any night you fish is a great night but we could have had a little wind. Kept the gnats and skeeters away though. We had a small but energetic group though.
First Place: Paul Peters and Wyatt Lejeune weren’t a bit shy. They had a basket load that tilted the scale at 11.60 pounds! Nice catch men!
Second Place: Kyle Bergeron and Hunter D’Aquila brought in a sack that included a beautiful girl that went 5:00 pounds even! They ended up with 11:20 pounds! Kyle must have been picture shy!
Okay guys, we need some boats. Every one out here knows a bunch of fisherman. Try to make some calls and get some folks to join us! Better bucks for all.

Couldn’t have had better conditions for the Classic this year! Take off was like riding on glass. Small group this year but had some of the best fisherman to call False River their home lake. Not a rookie in the bunch!
First Place: Kyle Bergeron and Hunter D’Aquila led the pack with a best 5 that went 12.56 pounds . Kyle said they were on fish all night. Good job men!
Second Place: Henry Newchurch and Doc Radzikowski brought in five that they were proud of. Their fish looked like cordwood in the basket! There aren’t many people that know the lake better than these guys!
Third Place: Paul Peters and Wyatt Lejeune didn’t show up with frowns. They also had five nice bass that weighed in at 10.76 pounds! They had a pretty girl that was good enough to grab the BB money. She went 2.76 pounds!
Fourth Place: The D&Ds, David Plunket and Darryl Krumholt brought their bag in and dumped 10.36 pounds of lively bass into the basket! David said they had been on em’ all evening!
Fifth Place: Rance Guerin flying solo wouldn’t be left out. He had his five as well! He has been in the mix all year. This man has a future on this lake! Keep pounding them buddy! He had 9.56 pounds of nice bsss!
Good night here. Everyone harvested a limit. One through five had only a two pound gap. Probably had 100 pounds of bass boated and released. Tells me that the lake is producing well. A little surprised that a really big bass didn’t come to the scales, but the big ones are holding up out in 40 ft of water. Had a thought at about 10:30 about people running to old spots trying to find that Kicker. A lot of thinking going on. I missed being out there with you guys. Best group of men I have ever associated with. Just proud that I can every one of you “Brother”! Be safe on the water and in the woods! Want to see y’all in the spring!

Hey, what’s a little rain? Some times it’s a good thing. No mosquitos and no wake boats. And it was pretty light!
First Place: Kyle Bergeron and Hunter D’Aquila was back on em’ they had 5 that went 10.96 which I would take any day! They also had a 3.31 pound beauty. Such a pretty green! Big enough for BB bucks!
Second Place: Rance Guerin fishing solo had five nice bass. They looked like cord wood in the basket! They weighed in at 8.61 pounds! Good job brother!
We just have one more before the Classic on the 13th! Speaking of that, because the lake draw down, the Classic will be held at the public launch on the north end. Hey, no launch fees and better landing! if you have your 10 in, see you there.

Tournament Results

Well, the conditions were a little better, not quite as hot, some breeze, musketeers weren’t quite as bad and fewer of cursed wake boats! Had some new faces and some we haven’t seen in a long time!
First Place: Chad & Chase Dauthier came in with a nice sack that was 10.14 pounds of nice bass. Had a little different situation though, seems that Chase did most of the catching. Good job done by father and son!
Second Place: Kyle Bergeron and Hunter D’Aqila had a nice string when they showed up at the scale with five gooduns that weighed 9. 43 pounds on the scale! Kyle said it was slow for most of the bang, bang, bang late.
Big Bass: A couple of guys I’ve not seen in awhile, Chase Walker and Kerry Burbank brought in a beautiful 4.63 pound female! Good job guys!
Time is flying by guys! Make sure of how many you need, if any, to fish the classic. Be safe out there, stay hydrated and always use your life jacket and kill switch anytime you are underway. See you next week!
