Here you will find all videos, pictures, and updates about the race team. Stevenson Racing was ignited in July of 2014 by owner Lucas Stevenson, in a hobby stock car, he then moved to Road Warriors at Jefferson Speedway, winning Rookie of the Year honors, and a 7th place points finish. We then transitioned to US Legend Cars, posting multiple top 5's, 2 Wisconsin state Semi-Pro 2nd place points fin

ishes, and 2 top 10 points finishes at Jefferson Speedway. More recently we have also added an oval racing and road course racing kart and have also started adding iRacing competition as well.

After receiving the go ahead, it appears that Damion Stevenson, will be heading to Junior 2 racing at MRM Raceway in 2022. He was the first person to drive the LO206 powered kart at MRM in 2021, this will be his first go at competitively racing. Damion has experience in ATVs and Motorcross bikes, and will look to tackle karting full-time next season.

BREAKING: After the 2021 season, Richard Nelson will not be renewed as the driver for the #26 Adult LO206 Stevenson Racing Kart moving forward. Multiple reasoning has been considered and we are looking to move the Adult 206 kart to the Junior class to provide starts for the younger generation of up and coming drivers. We appreciate the efforts put in by Richie and are proud of the career high 3rd place finish he was able to accomplish at the end of the season and wish him luck moving forward.

Unfortunately, tonight's show was a wash with the rain and no reschedule date. With that Congratulations to Nelson on 6th place for LO206 Adult and Witke on 2nd in JR2 this season. We will soon be looking to the 2022 season. We have a few thoughts in place for next year moving forward. If any potential sponsors would like to reach out, feel free. Pleased to announce that our Adult kart will transform into a Junior 2 kart for MRM Raceway Championship week. The #26 will be piloted by Witke from Grossman Racing and become a #30 for the week. With this, as a reminder Championship night is next week Friday night with racing starting at 7 PM.

Results are now official, Congratulations again to Richard Nelson in wheeling the Stevenson Racing #26 kart to a podium finish, including leading a lap in the feature. Richie will also complete the season 6th overall in the points standings. In the 12 race weeks, Richie totaled 8 top 3 heat finishes, 3 top 5 feature runs, and 1 podium finish and also gained almost a second and a half in speed, moving from a 14.1 lap time to a 12.861 just a week ago.

So last night was a little crazy...started out the day P2 in practice, however struggled in qualifying, going P7. Richie however, gained back a row for the feature in the even-odd races starting 4th and finishing 3rd. He repeated the performance in the slow heat as well. After making a few changes to the kart he started the Feature P6, and after an early caution found his way to 4th, then at lap 17 he made it to 3rd as another caution happened behind Richie and it came down to choosing the cone again, magically both karts in front of him chose the low lane, Richie went up top putting him on the front row in P2 with 13 to go. After taking the green Richie led his first feature lap this season, before falling back to P3 to end the race, giving him his first podium finish of the year.
