Southside Flag finished up the season last night with a playoff win over Westside Gold by a score of 22-18, to finish 3rd overall. We had a couple new names hit the stat sheet with Gino Guevara and Vincent Monroe scoring their 1st ever TD's, while Myles Curtis rushed in the 3rd. Kingston Holland rounded out the scoring with 2 extra point receptions. Max Meyer led the defense with 6 flag pulls, with Jet Ferrara and Nico Yarber right behind him with 4 a piece. Tommy Lisciandro added 2 pulls. While Tray'Vion Keys and Trey Green each had 1 pull.

🏈 Flag Championship Update! 🏈

What a game! Our championship matchup ended in a tie, and after a great discussion, both coaches agreed — Dunkirk & Northside are co-champions! 👏

It was an incredible effort on both sides, full of teamwork, hustle, and heart. At this age, the focus is all about learning, having fun, and building a love for the game — and these kids did exactly that.

Congratulations to both teams on an amazing season and a shared championship well earned! 🏆🎉

Westside Black team has decided to wrap up their season, so Westside Gold will advance to Monday’s game vs Southside!

Last night Southside Flag finished the regular season against Dunkirk falling by a score of 26-24. Leading the offense was Myles Curtis with 2 rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown to Zelynd Woodard. Woodard also had a rushing TD. Zyan Anderson and Seamus Nolloth also contributed with big runs. Defense had contributions from all over the field, with Jet Ferrara and Max Meyer leading the charge with 4 pulls a piece. Nico Yarber and Tremaine Green were right behind with 3 pulls. While Tray'Vion Keys and Zachary Wilson each added 1 pull.

The Westside Panthers trekked across town to challenge the Southside Blue Devils to a pair of games this Saturday.

The Varsity Panthers earned a gritty 18-0 Victory. The Varsity offensive linemen plowed the way for running backs Keegan Moore to scamper for 39 yards and Paxton Nickerson to run for 35 yards. Grant Langworthy piloted the offensive attack, scoring 3 touchdowns and scrambling for 121 yards. Zaadyn Graves led the way for the Varsity Defense with 5 solo tackles. Karsen Silliman and Brandon Philbrick had 4 tackles each. Honor Hodnett, Charlie McAdoo, and Blake Gonzales tallied 3 tackles apiece. The Panther Sack Attack saw Keeghan Moore, Karter Johnson, Blake Gonzales, and Paxton Nickerson each wrestle the quarterback to the grass.

The Panther JV squad lost a tough battle 21-0. Dom Robbins lead all runners with 76 yards. Trenton Johnson, Armani Cruz, and Paige Nickerson all ran hard. Remy Mon and Cameron Smith blocked well on the line. Cameron Smith spearheaded the defense with 5 tackles. Ryan Ordines, Paige Nickerson, Dom Robbins, & A.J, Harrington all grappled 3 Blue Devils to the turf. Robbins also swiped a fumble.

Next week the Panthers host the Dunkirk Marauders at Persell School to close out the regular season.
