📣 Head Coach James Meland and the Blue Jay Wrestling Coaching Staff are excited to announce Jenna Baarson as our new Blue Jay Girls Assistant Wrestling Coach!

Coach Jenna joins the Blue Jay Girls Wrestling coaching staff after finishing her own wrestling career at the University of Jamestown. Wrestling has been a big part of her life, and she is excited to stay involved in the sport while stepping into a new role as a coach.

As a former collegiate wrestler, Jenna understands both the physical and mental sides of the sport and hopes to help athletes grow in their confidence, technique, and love for wrestling.

Outside of wrestling, Jenna is a second-grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary. She is excited to give back to the wrestling community and help the next generation of female wrestlers grow both on and off the mat.

We’re excited to have Jenna join the program and look forward to the experience, energy, and dedication she’ll bring to our girls’ wrestling team.

Fall is a great time to try a new activity! 🍂

Youth Co-Ed Wrestling is one of the opportunities available for kids at TRAC this October. Designed for grades K–5, the program introduces young athletes to wrestling fundamentals through age-appropriate instruction and drills.

Along the way, they’ll stay active, build strength and coordination, gain confidence and learn the value of discipline and sportsmanship.

Boys and girls of all experience levels are welcome!

What a fantastic night with our wrestling family! 🤼‍♂️💙

A little burger night in Jud turned into the perfect evening of great food, laughs, and even better company!

Huge props to Annie for putting this awesome night together, you absolutely nailed it, lady! 👏🏼 You deserve all the recognition and appreciation for bringing our wrestling family together! As always, thank you JWA!

And thank you to all of our Blue Jay & TAZ wrestling families for showing up and making nights like this so special. It truly takes a village, and we’re pretty lucky to call this one ours. 💙🤍🖤🩶

Academic excellence is built the same way championship wrestling is through discipline, consistency, hard work, and a commitment to improving every single day. Our wrestlers continue to prove that success isn't just earned on the mat, but in the classroom as well.

We are incredibly proud of our student athletes for holding themselves to high standards, putting in the work, and excelling both academically and athletically. Success isn't measured only by wins on the mat, it's also reflected in the classroom.
