Just a friendly reminder to listen to your body when you've been hitting the gym 💪 and working tirelessly to make that dough 💰.
Rest Days are just as important as Rest Weeks, Active Recovery Weeks, or Deload Weeks. I can't tell you how many times when my body signals to take some time away from the gym once every 8 weeks.

To you give you some insight:

I Play Ice Hockey on Sunday Nights
I take CrossFit class 2x a week
I perform strength movements for 45 Minutes to 60 minutes 2-3x a week
And get out for some recreational activities for active recovery such as walking, east hiking, paddleboarding, and cycling. Mostly walking and cycling.

Combine all of that with the work day. It’s a lot.
Taking time off from the gym for a week isn’t a bad thing. I typically come back stronger and have way more motivation to be present in the gym or playing a sport.
