When most people think about exercise, they think about lifting weights or improving their cardio.

But what about balance?

Balance is one of the most overlooked parts of fitness, especially as we get older. Training balance challenges your muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, and nervous system to work together to keep you stable and in control.

It might look simple, but standing and squatting on an unstable surface is a great way to challenge coordination, stability, and strength.

At Blue Star Fitness, we don’t just train for today’s workout. We train so you can stay strong, capable, and confident for years to come.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: EMILY 💪

Emily has always valued health and fitness. As a former military officer, staying active and taking care of herself has always been a priority. While cardio came naturally to her, strength training was the piece she struggled to stay consistent with on her own.

After losing her father to health and cardiac-related issues, Emily decided it was time to make strength training a bigger focus. That decision led her to Blue Star Fitness and to training with Ursula.

What Emily loves most is the balance in the workouts, the structure and consistency of the classes, and the supportive environment. The Blue Star community encourages, challenges, and lifts each other up every step of the way.

We’re proud to have you with us, Emily. Keep crushing it 🔥
