What a way to start the season.

A massive opening night for the 1st Impressions Racing Team at Daytona.

In AFT Singles,
🥈 Chase Saathoff fought at the front all night — winning his heat race and battling for the win before bringing it home 2nd in the main event to kick off the championship run.

🔥 Rookie Jack Brucks made a statement in his AFT debut.
After qualifying 3rd fastest and finishing 2nd in his heat, Jack delivered one of the most impressive rides of the night with a 4th place finish in his first-ever main event.

In SuperTwins, fill-in rider Hunter Bauer put the team’s KTM into the main event, finishing 16th.

And in Road to AFT, Jett Katarzy showed serious speed, running in podium contention before a last-lap bobble left him with 4th.

Strong speed across the board.
A podium, a breakout rookie performance, and momentum to start the season.

Daytona delivered.

First Impressions Racing is proud to announce the signing of Jett Katarzy to its amateur development program, continuing the team’s commitment to investing in the next generation of racing talent.

A California native and standout in AMA District 36 competition, Katarzy has quickly established himself as a well-rounded and versatile racer. In 2025, he captured the District 36 MotoClimb Championship and finished sixth overall in the Open Expert standings despite not contesting every round—underscoring both his speed and consistency across disciplines.

Katarzy is set to contest the Cory Texter Road to AFT program in 2026, with the season kicking off at the Daytona Short Track. His addition further strengthens First Impressions Racing’s amateur pipeline following Jack Brooks’ progression into the AFT Singles ranks.

“Jett brings the kind of versatility and work ethic we value,” said team owner Eric Hoyt. “We’re excited to help guide his development as he takes this next step toward competing at the national level.”

Katarzy will compete under the First Impressions Racing banner throughout the 2026 season as the team works to support his continued growth and progression within the sport.
