Success is assured even if you feel that you are without talent or extraordinary intelligence. The tradition is designed so that ANYONE can succeed.
Why do only a few people do this?
It’s damn hard. That doesn’t apply to the techniques. It’s a matter of the deceptively simple question you must answer each day: “Am I going to practice?”
We live in a world of probability and statistics. Most people who start don’t even go a few months. Research into karate students tells us that only 1% of beginners achieve a black belt, and only 1% of black belts test for higher levels.
The techniques work. You just have to do them.
