Our Hunter Ed class is coming up on Saturday, January 24th. Please register your student at the link below so we can plan accordingly. Lunch will be provided. This is a one time requirement to participate on the team. More information will be sent out to those registered.

Super proud of our shooters today! Weston Faulk, JD Barnes, Shelby Gill, Baylee Kinnaird, Walker Colquit took 3rd in the South District and placed in the top 10 overall. Shelby Gill won Top Female South District. Squad 2 placed in the top 20 of over 100 squads and Squad 3 top 28. It was a great day!

Hey shooters! Here is a local event opportunity!

The SAU Trap Shooting Range will be hosting a Black Light Trap Shooting Tournament the Monday of October 27th! This will be a 50 Bird event in which shooters will shoot targets under the black lights. There will be prizes for the best costumes of a shooter, best costume of anyone present, trophies to 1st-3rd Place, and a High Female Trophy. The entry fee of $35 will cover the costs of the targets that are thrown along with the cost of the Black Lights that were bought. The shooters will be required to bring their own Ammo, Eye and Ear Protection, and 12 or 20 Gauge Shotgun.

📍 Location: Farmers Bank & Trust Trap Shooting Range – Southern Arkansas University, 833 Columbia Road 13, McNeil, AR

🕗 Registration Times:
AM Flight: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM (shooting from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
PM Flight: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (shooting from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
You can register online now or sign up in person during the registration window for your chosen flight!

4️⃣ PM Flight – Team of Five – $125 – One round in the PM for a team of five.

Getting started for FFA Shoot. The competition will be Nov 21. Practice is starting Oct 19th. 9th-12th grade FFA members are eligible. You had to have been in an Ag class last year or this year. If you are planning on joining the FFA shoot join this group me. More information to come.
