Baseball season for these boys is a grind. They play Little League 2-3 games a week (split between 4 teams), fit in practices and play tournaments together on weekends. Going from LL pitching and fielding distances to 11u, the boys have to make a lot of adjustments. Still a lot of work to do, but they show improvement and take the game one pitch at a time. Congrats to Styven “Papi” Perez on being awarded MVP player of the tournament for our team.

Boys showed grit coming back down 6-2 to win 9-7. Quite a few good plays. Ryder Peterson got best fielding play for his catch to end the game. Ty Williams went 2-2 with a triple and a double earning best hitting for the game. Kade C**n got player of the game coming in to pitch and shutting down a tough team. Let’s got get another W at noon boys.

Kade also got best dancer pre game.

Great weekend of CV baseball. Our boys battled and came up a run short of the Championship. Ours boys are putting balls in play, strikeouts are few, pitching continues to improve and team activities on and off the field are keeping us busy. Bright future for all these boys.
