Hello everyone sorry for the lack of Season updates. The Carolina Bombers season has concluded yesterday with a lose in the elimination game against the renegades. It was tough hard fought season especially after playing a tight game against the Cardinals 2 weeks ago it was very heartbreaking to fall short in Game 1 of the playoffs. There was a few games that slipped away that could've changed the direction of the season. Unfortunately the Bombers finished the season winless season. As the offseason officially for the Bombers they look to retool for bigger and brighter future. Stay tune for next season.

Goodmorning Everyone,

I will like to apologize to everyone for the lack of updates on the team page as I currently don't have a social media manager so that being said I have been busy moving to my new home and getting settled in. So so with that being said I will recap on what has gone down in the season so far. With 2 weeks ( 1 week lost due to rainout) the Bombers enter week 10/11 with 0-9 record with 2 games being played this weekend the Bombers will hope to get 2 W. After this week there will be 3 games remaining until playoffs start. The Bombers look to finish strong with some reinforcements returning from last years team looking to give the Bombers some life to the line up to help win some games.

Week 3 preview matchup
Carolina Bombers @ Cape Fear Flytraps 12pm- kerr st park

Despite a 0-2 record to start the year the Bombers lost 2 close games to start the year. Big game this week as they look to avoid going 0-3. They look to get there first win of the season to get back in the race to compete for CMBL regular season title with the depth and talent that Bombers have on their roster anything is possible! Stay tune for post game updates. Go Bombers!

Some highlights from week 2 @ brew crew.
Louis Nichols led the game off by getting his first base hit of the season.

A few at bats later Brian Parasconda brought home teams first run of the game and also his first second hit and first RBI of the season.

Tripp Creech crush a HR to center field to keep the game close.

Unfortunately despite the glimpse of a offensive performance it wasn't enough to overcome a late game meltdown which caused the Bombers to fall to the Brew Crew 11-5 and to drop to a season record (0-2) to start the year.

After the first 2 weeks of the season the Bombers drop their record to 0-2 on the year. Don't let the record fool you though this isnt the same ole team compared to last season this years squad is very competitive and stays in every game they play so far

Game 1 vs Cardinals (03/02)
Final: Cardinals- 9 Bombers- 3

Game 2 @ Brew Crew (03/09)
Final: Brew Crew- 11 Bombers- 5

Take aways from both games defense and pitching pretty solid. Offense is scoring runs and getting on base but failing by leaving runners in scoring position. Game 2 there was some late innings defensive miscues not a huge concern moving forward. Expect a very competitive Bombers team this year as they will keep you on your toes and battle to the very end. Next game is next Sunday (03/16) at fly traps in Jacksonville.
