—TRYOUTS—
The San Jose Reds 15U team will be hosting tryouts Saturday December 7th from 11A-2P and also December 12th from 7-9pm both tryouts will be on field 4 at 7641 powers ave, Jacksonville Florida. After coming off of an undefeated fall rec ball season we are looking to the spring season now! We are looking for 15U players who would like to come join our family! We will be focused on rec ball and hopefully head to states this year, then after that play some travel ball tournaments to start the summer off.

Big Sixth Inning Leads San Jose Reds 15U Past Jax beach

San Jose Reds 15U defeated Jax beach 9-3 on Monday thanks in part to eight runs in the sixth inning. Nathan Rodriguez singled, scoring two runs, Evan Ricardo singled, scoring one run, Samuel Palencia doubled, scoring two runs, Dustin Parente singled, scoring two runs, and Logan Kogut singled, scoring one run.

San Jose Reds 15U were the first to get on the board in the first when Palencia grounded out, scoring one run.

A single by Jude gave Jax beach the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first.

Parente began the game for San Jose Reds 15U. The starter allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out eight and walking five. Conner stepped on the mound first for Jax beach. The hurler surrendered 10 hits and nine runs (eight earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking eight. Palencia pitched two and two-thirds innings of scoreless ball for San Jose Reds 15U in relief. The reliever gave up one hit, striking out seven and walking none.

San Jose Reds 15U piled up 10 hits in the game. Palencia drove the middle of the lineup, leading San Jose Reds 15U with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Ricardo led San Jose Reds 15U with two hits in two at bats from the leadoff position. San Jose Reds 15U had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Andrew Bobo and Justin Cox led the team with two free passes each. Cox stole two bases. San Jose Reds 15U stole seven bases in the game.

Jude provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Jax beach with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Jude, Adam, and Conner each collected one hit for Jax beach. Liam led Jax beach with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Jax beach turned one double play in the game. Jax beach were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Conner had the most chances in the field with one.

San Jose Reds 15U play at home on Friday against Msa3 in their next game.
