Gravel Group Ride this Saturday at 10am in the Croatan. Beginners Welcome. We should have enough riders to have a faster group in addition to the No Drop Group. Down East Cyclists

The People Have Spoken: Croatan Gravel is Here!

The Details:

When: Saturday, Jan 17. We’re rolling at 10:00 AM sharp

Where: Peletier Town Hall Parking Lot.

The Route: A scenic 20-miles, 10 out -and- 10 back.

The Pace: We’re aiming for a friendly 14–15 mph, but since it’s an out-and-back, we can split the pack if some of you have extra espresso in your systems.

The Golden Rule: This is a No-Drop Ride. We leave together, we finish together—no rider left behind to befriend the local wildlife. We’re planning to do this every other Saturday as long as the weather plays nice and you all keep showing up.

Saturday looks partly sunny with temps in the upper 40s—perfect "work up a sweat without melting" weather. Questions? Give us a shout at 910-355-2453 or message us.

These are built for backflips and skateparks, and even if you just want one for casual riding, they will hold up for the next 20+ years.
