What an incredible accomplishment for our Southwest 8U Softball Team!

These young athletes battled hard all season, showed tremendous heart, and earned the title of District Champions. Their dedication, teamwork, and determination have now punched their ticket to the Dixie Youth Softball State Tournament!

Congratulations to Mrs. Sonnabend on being recognized as Onslow County's Coach of the Year for Southwest District! 🏆

This honor is especially meaningful because it was voted on by fellow coaches from across Southwest, reflecting the respect and admiration she has earned from her peers.

Mrs. Sonnabend has worked tirelessly for her athletes, always leading with dedication, passion, and a commitment to helping young people succeed both on and off the field. Her hard work, positive influence, and love for the game have not gone unnoticed.

We are incredibly proud of Kelsey Sonnabend and all she has accomplished. This recognition is well deserved, and we are grateful for the impact she continues to make in the lives of so many athletes.

Southwest Youth Athletics Sponsorship Opportunity

As Southwest Youth Athletics continues to grow, so does our vision for providing the best possible experience for our athletes and families. We are currently seeking community sponsors and partners who want to invest in the future of youth sports in our area.

⚾ Building dugouts on Field 4 to provide players with a safe and comfortable space during games.

⚾ Upgrading our batting cage facility with dedicated hitting stations and a potential bullpen area to help our athletes develop their skills year-round.

📣 Purchasing cheer mats to create a safer practice environment and improve our cheer program's ability to train and grow.

Our team didn’t just show up to this tournament, we practically made contact with EVERYTHING! 🥎🔥

At this point, teams were probably checking if we had magnets in our bats. 😂 Great tournament by the crew, putting balls in play and keeping scorekeepers busy all weekend! Proud of this group! 💪🥎 VIDEO IS THE MOMENT THEY WON!
