Every stage of my programs are planned with a goal and destination in mind. My mission is to take you on a journey and help you reach new heights within every stage of your training. Whether that’s building lean muscle or shedding weight.

VALOR Burn is suitable for anyone that is interested in getting into weight training or for people already training that want to take their performance to the next level. You will have a choice of gym based workouts if you access to a gym is highly home workouts for those of you that want to stay home. Everything can be modified and can be completed with a set of dumbbells or a barbell.

All of the workouts include metabolic conditioning that challenges you both physically and mentally. This program focuses on movements and dropping any excess weight you might be holding onto. It can be intense but can be scaled back to fit the need of any level of exercise performance. All you need for this Program is dumbbells, a sandbag/medball, b***y bands and or long resistance bands. If you have access to a gym you can do the gym based workouts.

Legs and B***y! Here is a KILLER lower body workout

Set #1:
Barbell Back Squats 16reps
Kettlebell Swings 30sec
GHD Back Extensions 12 reps

Set #2:
Leg Extensions 12reps
Sumo Deadlifts 8, 8, 8reps

Set #3:
GHD 20reps
Cossack Lunges 16reps (8 ea)

Ever wondered the advantage of a High Bar vs. a Low Bar Squat? 🔊Sound On to find out!

A low bar squat will be placed lower down on the shoulders. The bar placement will affect the position of your torso during your squat. Low bar squatting tends to lead to more of a hip dominate motion and because the low bar is more of a hip hinge your range of motion is generally less. This squat is ideal however if you goal is to squat as much as possible due to being in an efficient position to move heavy weight.

The High bar squat is a bit different because it sits across your traps. This causes the position of your squat to be more of an upright position causing your quads to push further forward. The more knees forward, combined with the upright position the more quad dominant the squat becomes. This motion is a superior squat for the quads due to less emphasis placed on the hips and lower back.

I much prefer the low bar squat! Moving weight and squatting in a more hip dominant position is what I love. What about you - Which do you prefer?
