Many of our swimmers are introduced to competitive swimming which includes learning the competitive strokes and improving cardiovascular fitness in a fun and low key environment. Although many of our swimmers are new to swimming many of our swimmers return each year, and each year and they see marked improvement. We have swimmers that have qualified to State and National meets. We have also assisted swimmers on continuing their swimming career in NCAA D1 & D2 programs.

What a wonderful day for our Wahoos family! More than 30 age-group swimmers, Masters swimmers, coaches, parents, and grandparents competed in the 2026 Hammerhead Ocean Swim!

This was our third year participating, and our Wahoos family continues to grow stronger! This special tradition showcases the courage, determination, and strength of our entire team—and it’s a fantastic way to begin the new season.

Congratulations to everyone who participated, with a special shoutout to our top finishers! Thank you all for your incredible effort and for representing the Wahoos with pride!

Our annual Wahoos Beach Party was the perfect way to close out another incredible season. We celebrated:

What a busy and exciting weekend for Wahoos across the city—and beyond! 🌊

Coach Colton Martin represented our Masters program at the USMS Nationals in California, while another group of Masters swimmers competed in a local adult swim meet. Several Wahoos took on the Hammerhead Triathlon in Starke, Florida, and another group had the incredible opportunity to learn from Olympian Breeja Larson at a Fitter & Faster swim camp!

From the pool to the open water—and all the way across the country—our Wahoos were everywhere!

Championship meets aren’t just about medals, ribbons, or personal bests. They’re about the friendships that grow, the laughs between races, the cheers from the end of the lane, and the memories that will last a lifetime.
