JAX RC - Radio Control Club of Jacksonville

JAX RC - Radio Control Club of Jacksonville Home of the RC Club of Jacksonville. Training is available for club members and help is always available.

The RC Club of Jacksonville is an AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) sanctioned club that promotes the sport of model aviation. We also host events throughout the year including the 3D Bowl for giant scale gas airplanes, and the Freedom Of Flight Warbird Fly-In for military style aircraft. We welcome all model aviation disciplines including gas, nitro and electric powered airplanes, helicopters, gliders, and even jets.

Attention! The field will be CLOSED to ALL flying the 18th and 19th of June for runway repairs. With no weather delays the field and new runway will be open for business on Saturday the 20th. Watch here for any updates.

Sorry to hear about Hazel, a tip of the hat to a life well lived

The Model Airplane News family was saddened to learn of the passing of Hazel Sig. Hazel started Sig manufacturing in 1951 with her husband Glen and has been active in the hobby and full-scale aviation for many decades. Fair winds Hazel.
