Right: don’t care what other people think 49/50 times (still working on it) & and am proud of the strong body I have built and am not trying to hide it. ⁣

I am seriously SO excited to start a new fitness calendar tomorrow with a group of badass women who are with me! Essentially taking 2 weeks off to let myself heal was necessary, but has been brutal for my mental health more than anything else. ⁣

I am happy to report I feel almost good as new & ready to crush it starting tomorrow. ⁣

If I was just showing up for myself I would have stopped a really long time ago.⁣

It is so easy to break a promise to yourself, it is much harder to break a promise to others. This is why the accountability piece has saved me.⁣

One of the many reasons I love being a coach is to be that accountability piece for others, because I know how vital it can be. ⁣

One of my clients posted this in our accountability group yesterday (second picture) and it honestly made my heart smile.⁣

I am so proud of this girl for showing up when life is busy. When it is not convenient. When she doesn’t have enough “time,” but there she is anyway, fu***ng crushing it.⁣

Absolutely crushing it.⁣

Nothing changes if nothing changes. ⁣

Some days I am so proud of how far I have come and everything I have accomplished, but other days I can’t believe how hard I have worked for the hamster wheel I am on & can’t wait to get off of it. ⁣

I am working to acknowledge and appreciate both; where I am now, and where I want to be. ⁣

& where I want to be requires hard work, grit, & all the changes, but that sure beats complaining about the hamster wheel for the rest of my life, right?! ⁣

Hi friends!⁣

I was just thinking about this funny little square. ⁣

I love its ability to bring old friends together & start new friendships. ⁣

I decided it would be fun to share five random facts about me to introduce myself to those who don’t know me & give some additional insider info to those who do. ⁣

1. I am a self proclaimed sauce queen (and no I do not mean alcohol). I have been putting make shift sauces together from the items in the pantry since I was a kid & I will legit drink them.⁣
2. Jesse & my first conversation ever was about how we both tore our ACLs 😂 shortly after it progressed to the intricacies of asparagus p*e - thanks for the help there ⁣
3. My favorite diagnosis to see at work is something super out of the box that no one has been able to put together yet, like CSI for the body.⁣
4. Pretty Woman is my all time favorite movie & my dad and I text quotes from it back and forth to another whenever we see it 😱⁣
5. The sound of cardboard boxes rubbing together grossed me the f**k out lol. ⁣

Anyway, those are about as random as they get! Do we have anything in common?!⁣

Used ANY excuse NOT to workout —> Needed EVERY excuse to take a break from working out.⁣

The biggest change between these pictures is not my weight, but my strength, both mentally and physically. ⁣

By no means do I have it all figured out, in fact my hormones have really been getting the best of me recently, but who likes someone that has all there s**t together anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️⁣

Although I have not been able to exercise consistently this past week, I am still beyond proud of that girl on the right, because she has been consistent with her imperfect workout routine for 214 days in a row now. ⁣

She has been showing up whether she has been eating super healthy, or ate a whole bag of salt & vinegar chips with French onion dip in one setting.⁣

She knows fitness is a journey, and not a destination, and that has allowed her to give up what it is “supposed to” look like. ⁣

This has been so freeing for me & I would love to share the love. I am hosting a end 2020 strong group with 2 other badass coaches and would love to have you join us. ⁣

I typically try to live by the “what you focus on expands” rule & really try to keep my mindset in check when s**t appears to be hitting the fan. ⁣

It really does make a HUGE difference, but yesterday I did not do such a great job at that. I waxed and waned between moods all day & eventually just tried to sleep it off. ⁣

Undoubtably a big part of the mood I was feeling is that I have not been able to/have not allowed myself to exercise since Monday (gave myself shin splints & tendonitis from trying to run correctly but also being dumb 🤦🏻‍♀️). Exercise is my stress relief, my burnout of bad energy, and what keeps me (relatively) sane lol. ⁣

SO, here is to a new day.⁣

To good coffee & good weather. ⁣

To puppies & baby showers.⁣

& to the ability to shift perspective at any moment.

Man, I suck at slowing down. ⁣

Recently my body has been telling me that slowing down is essential, yet I still don’t wanna listen to it 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Going, going, going has been my MO for the past however long and it is hard to let it go. Anyone hear me on that? ⁣

Anyway, it is ironic because I had already planned for the month of November to do a fitness group for 21 days that focused on simple routines, and slowing down during the holiday season to work on physical, mental, & spiritual health. ⁣

I have always heard that what you resist is what you need the most, that was a common theme in our yoga trainings.. but still doesn’t make it easy. ⁣

But here I am, committing to 21 days of gentle exercise, meditation, & personal development to focus on all things healing starting November 23rd.
