Congratulations to Bold City Premier on a hard-fought 2-2 draw vs DME Academy this weekend.

After falling to this team last year, the group showed resilience—battling back late to secure the equalizer. Huge credit to Mirza Nevoric and Austin D’Anna, each scoring in the second half to earn the result.

In the earlier match, Bold City SC2 picked up a strong 3-1 win vs Bronson FC. Almir Hamzagic led the way with a goal and an assist to help drive the team forward.

A great start for our Division 1 squad, now 2-0 on the season.

Bold City Soccer is hosting a Kids Easter Egg Hunt during halftime of our UPSL semi-pro doubleheader on March 28, and we’re looking for 4 local business sponsors at $250 each to help support this community event.

This event is expected to bring out hundreds of local families, players, and soccer fans for a fun evening of soccer and activities for kids.

Admission to the games is FREE, and food trucks will be on site, making it a great family night out.

Bold City SC Home Opener Doubleheader — Saturday, March 14th

Opening weekend at home is here. Bold City SC takes over Fort Family Park for a huge doubleheader.

Division 1 — Bold City SC2 vs Bronson

🕔 5:00 PM Kickoff

Bold City SC2 opens play in the new UPSL North Florida Division, which now includes several Georgia clubs and a fresh lineup of opponents.

After years of mostly facing Orlando-area teams, we’re excited to compete against new programs and expand our regional footprint.

Bronson is a new UPSL side based outside Gainesville and will be making the trip to Jacksonville for this matchup.

Premier Team — Bold City SC vs DME Academy

🕢 7:30 PM Kickoff

This will be the first chance to see Bold City’s new-look Premier team in action.

The roster now features most of the starters from the River City Sporting Club squad that won the Florida Division I Championship last season, combined with a strong returning core of Bold City players.

We fell short in this matchup last year.
This season, the squad is deeper, more talented, and ready to defend home turf.

Opening Weekend: Bangers, Comebacks & Drama — Bold City SC Premier & Division 1

Opening weekend is in the books for Bold City SC.

Premier Team

Our Premier Team traveled to the Orlando area to face OFC Barca and came up short in a 4–2 result. Our squad controlled possession for most of the match and created more quality chances, but we couldn’t close the gap late. A strong performance with plenty to build on moving forward.

Division 1 — Bold City SC 2

One of the most eventful matches we’ve played in recent memory ended in a thrilling 5–4 comeback victory.

Bold City conceded two goals in the first five minutes but stayed composed and battled back. The first half was relatively flat, but the match took a dramatic turn after halftime.

Shortly into the second half, our goalkeeper suffered a serious facial injury after a kick to the head. We’re thankful he’s recovering well and expect him back in a few months. Wishing him a smooth and speedy recovery.

Play was then suspended for a 45-minute storm delay, with Bold City trailing 3–1.

What followed was unforgettable.

In the final 30 minutes:
* Bold City mounted a furious comeback
* Momentum swung repeatedly
* Four goals were scored in an explosive stretch

After taking a 4–2 lead and then conceding two quick goals to level the match, the game seemed destined for a draw.

With seconds remaining, team captain Rio Mello delivered the moment of the night — an absolute 41-yard banger to seal the win.

Rio finished with a hat trick, including two of the best goals we’ve seen in a long time. A special performance.

Bold City Soccer has an immediate roster opening due to injury and is hosting a special goalkeeper tryout tomorrow night.

We are looking to select 1–2 goalkeepers to join our UPSL squad right away.
