A double header at New Smyrna made for a long but fun day! 🏎️🏁

Lawson qualified third in his Honda. He started third and finished second in the first main. His driving in the first main was sharp!! He even led several laps. 🥈

In the second main, he started third and finished third. Lots of hiccups in this race, but he didn’t give up and kept trying. 🥉

Unfortunately his Animal needed some carburetor work so after practice, it was parked for the day!

Overall, every time on the track is an opportunity to learn and grow. We’re very proud of Lawson always and baby brother was a trooper in the heat all day!! Thank you so much to all of our sponsors who continue to make racing possible for our driver.

Another big thank you to the Merrill Performance team as well. You guys have moved mountains to gets the cars ready and help Lawson so much on race day, so thank you so much for your support while William is away.

Another fun weekend at Space Coast! 🚀

I’m not sure what he likes more, racing his racecar or racing the rip riders 😆😂

Lawson started P1 in both heats and won both.
He ended up winning both mains too. 🥇🏆

He also finished 2nd in points for Honda & 1st in points for Animal.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped this weekend and/or who gave kindness and encouragement to our little driver. We genuinely appreciate everyone who helps Lawson be successful while his crew chief is at sea.

Space Coast spring series race #2 recap:

Junior Honda:

Heat 2👉🏻1
Feature 1👉🏻2

Led 21 laps in the feature and Lawsons good buddy Richie got around him after crossing over 3/4 times. It was a great race and some super fast lap times from them both.

Junior Animal:

Heat 1👉🏻1
Feature 1👉🏻3

Lawson jumped out to an early lead in the animal and only made 1 mistake all day in both cars and unfortunately it was a big one. He hit the wall coming out of turn 4 just enough to tweak the car. We sent him back out and he managed to hang onto 3rd with a bent car.

As always super proud of his growth and development and determination he has.

Had a great debut this weekend in our new Bullet Motorsports QM! Lawson led the first 10-12 laps and fought hard with the leader for the remainder of the race for a strong second place finish! It was very refreshing to see so much speed out of our new car!
