Congratulations to Jonathan Berry and Makayla Clark for earning the Most Outstanding Wrestler award!

We usually only recognize one MOW but this year we had a tie.

This season they both accomplished the following:

*1st place in the Onslow County MS Championships.
*Record of 10-1.
*All wins by pin.

“Wrestlers Compete as Individuals, Yet the Sport Builds Comradery Like No Other.”

Our team received their wrestling medals tonight at the Athletic Awards Ceremony. Some wrestlers were starters, some were not. But ALL of them were brave enough to try out for the wrestling team and ALL of these wrestlers were dedicated enough to show up to practice, work hard and earn the title of Northwoods Park Middle School WRESTLER. Well earned!

Excited to have my guy Jax Forrest in the building June 10th. He’ll be the 3rd world medalist we’ve had do a clinic for us, joining the likes of Vougar Oroudjov and Zain Retherford who’ve been to the gym in the past! These are the kinds of athletes and coaches we want our kids around. People striving to be the best in the 🌎
