🤼 BIG NEWS AT EASTERN CAROLINA WRESTLING ACADEMY! 🤼
Starting September 1st, ECWA is rolling out a NEW class schedule — including a brand-new Basics Program created especially for our youngest wrestlers!
⭐ NEW BASICS CLASS ⭐
Our Basics class is designed for Pre-K through Kindergarten athletes, with select 1st graders welcome based on readiness.
📅 Thursdays
⏰ 5:30–6:30 PM
💲 $40/month
At this age, wrestling should be FUN! Instead of an hour of formal drilling, our Basics wrestlers will learn through games, movement, and play while building:
🤼 Basic wrestling fundamentals
💪 Body control, balance & coordination
👂 Listening and following directions
🎯 Focus and staying engaged
🤝 Confidence and being part of a team
The goal is to introduce them to wrestling in a positive environment and help prepare them for the next step when they're ready for our Fundamentals program.

Registration is OPEN NOW for both Fundamentals and Basics.
⚠️ Space in our new Basics class will be LIMITED so we can keep a low coach-to-athlete ratio and give our youngest wrestlers the attention they need.
Whether they're ready to compete or they're just learning how to listen, move, play, and have fun on the mat — there's a place for them at Eastern Carolina Wrestling Academy.
