“Forgive me baseball family, for I have sinned…”
We “ghosted”with the best of them for 3months, and like any comeback story - “We’re Baaaack!”
We took a little personal inventory, a break from posting - in part to savor the final month together before Summer Escapes and 13U baseball ambitions came calling, in part because how do you properly say “Goodnight” one last time to a Framily, that while imperfect, you cherish with every fiber of your baseball being?
- This story does not end in with the Summer 2021 chapter
- It won’t conclude on a team that finally acquired the art of competing AND finishing against the biggest of boys
- It won’t close with a team that went to Perfect Game World Series Gulf Shores, and was awaiting playing the 1 seed on championship Saturday before a named storm asked us to hold their tropical libation and “watch this”
We will dedicate this IG Love [Of the Game] Story with the continued trials and triumphs of our young baseballers that inspired it all.
Stayed tuned, it’s gonna be a fun ride, as several are “doing work” on Majors teams all around town on big fields, and tracking their baseball storms are gonna good for keeping glasses half-full with a jolt or two of some wholesome “feels”.
We’ve said it before; “If You build it; they will come”.
Now it’s time to take in the view as they Grow in the Game, for it all began with outsized uniforms and photo-happy Momma’s, and without them all there is no game to love us back.
