Huge congratulations to our Team Next Up 8th grade team for going undefeated this tournament weekend and bringing home the championship! These boys played hard, stayed tough, competed together, and showed what Team Next Up is all about every time they stepped on the court.

We are proud of the growth, the hustle, and the way they continue to represent on and off the court. The work doesn’t stop here! 💪🏾🖤🧡

More than basketball. ❤️
Today the boys of Team Next Up spent the day volunteering and helping sort donations for families affected by the Brantley wildfire. Proud of these young men for stepping up, giving back, and learning the importance of community. 🙌🏾

Today was bigger than basketball.

Team Next Up had the opportunity to volunteer at the Exchange Club helping sort donations for families affected by the Brantley wildfire. For some of our players, this was their very first time ever doing community service. At first, a few of them didn’t fully understand why we were there, but once we talked about the importance of helping others and giving back to the community when people are in need, everything changed.

Watching these young men come together, sort clothes, work as a team, laugh together, and genuinely enjoy helping others was such a proud moment. It reminded them that service matters and that sometimes the smallest acts can make a huge difference for someone else.

We always tell our players that while we are thankful for the people who support and donate to Team Next Up, we also have a responsibility to pour back into the community too. Leadership is not just about what happens on the court. It is about character, compassion, and showing up for others.

After volunteering, we took the team to Alpine Village where they were each able to cool off with their own icy and celebrate the hard work they put in today.

Please continue supporting the Brantley wildfire relief efforts and keep the families affected in your prayers. And as always, thank you for continuing to support Team Next Up and the mission behind what we are building with these young men. ❤️

One of the most respected and influential high school basketball reporters in Georgia took notice of TWO of our Team Next Up players at the tournament.

This was only our second tournament, and every team showed just how hard they fight. We’re proud of the effort, the growth, and the way our players continue to compete.

We still have some things to work on, but we’re locked in and getting prepared for Atlanta next weekend.
