We just learned that Chris will be remembered during the City of Jacksonville’s Patriot Day Observance this Friday, September 11. ❤️ 🇺🇸
This year marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our country and the lives of so many who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.
Chris was one of them.
Nearly ten years after 9/11, Chris gave his life in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, aboard Extortion 17. To know that his hometown will remember him during this year’s Patriot Day Observance means the world to us.
Frogman exists because we promised to keep Chris’s memory, his final wish, and the memory of those who served beside him alive. Moments like this remind us that Never Forgotten is more than something we say. It is something we have to keep doing.
We are incredibly grateful to the City of Jacksonville for including Chris in this year’s observance and for continuing to honor those who answered our nation’s call.
The Patriot Day Observance will begin at 8:15 a.m. Friday, September 11, at the 9/11 Memorial Beam at Lejeune Memorial Gardens and is open to the public.
We will never forget September 11.
We will never forget those who answered the call.
We will never forget Chris.
🇺🇸 31 Heroes. Never Forgotten.
