Big bro got to trial a robotics class this morning in a neighboring neighborhood. So little man and I found a park and had some one on one time.

Video #4 update: the wait to get into the dermatologist.

This video took me too long to put together and kept deleting 🤷🏼‍♀️ but anyways here we are.

We had to wait almost 8 weeks between seeing the allergist and getting in with the recommended ped dermatologist in the area.

During that time we had a water filtration system put in and just continued to monitor his skin get worse.
😭😭😭

We got to watch our main man working the World Baseball Classic games this weekend. And even when he’s on tv, Dads cheer team is loud and proud! 🎉

Spring Training has looked different this year for us with baby sister coming and needing to get doctor apts in. We miss our guy, but excited to be reunited this week! 💙

Video 3 of sharing about our son’s mold illness: the allergist update.

Let me start by saying, I love a truth teller. If you don’t know an answer to something, don’t just bu****it it.

I truly feel that we work with the best allergist in town. And how he handled Bennys case from the moment we started seeing him for answers really solidified that for me.

This was our first “specialist” attempt at figuring out what was wrong. Although it didn’t lead us to the answers, it was a step in the right direction we had to make at the time.

I’m trying my best to give all the information in these videos of how we found out our son was dealing with mold toxicity while staying in the timeframe allowed for videos. 😅

I will try and group them by the step of action that was taken along the way.

I recorded this back in September, but finally ready to share publicly. I’m in tears typing this just knowing what all he went through and how strong he truly is. 💙

I don’t know how long/how many videos it will take me to share this journey. But I’m going to do my best to share all the details of how we figured things out, how I had to advocate for our son, and how his healing journey is going.

Like I mentioned in the video, if our experience can help just one person, then it’s worth sharing.

If you didn’t finish the last 5 minutes of your ride 6 months pregnant while holding your 30+ lbs toddler on your hip, don’t tell me we have the same 24 hours for fitness. 🤪

In all seriousness, we do what we can around here. Each day looks different for fitness. And that’s ok!

Shane is still home for one more week. And normally he’s great about keeping the boys while I get a workout at home. But big bro got hurt and needed attention so Landon got to come hang with me and if you have a Velcro baby you understand. The only way the last 5 minutes was getting completed was if I held him.

So that’s what we did. Bc as moms we do what we have to do to make sure we take care of ourselves too! 💪🏼

We went into this pregnancy fully determined to wait and find out the gender at delivery, as this is likely our last baby.

However, Bennett is at the age where he really understands more about this pregnancy and REALLY wanted to find out, as he has his heart set on a sister.

Would he have gotten over it at the hospital if it was a brother? Yes of course.

But was it worth seeing the pure joy and happiness in his face when he saw pink? ABSOLUTELY.

Baby girl Harper we can’t wait to meet you!! 💕

Ps: we’ve known for a week and I’m still so shocked it’s a girl!
