Here is something we have been training lately.

Watch the way Phil is moving backwards in transition to bump set his partner.

-His arms stay basically parallel to the sand.
- he doesn’t try to set super high
- he is not swinging at the ball
- his shoulders stay shrugged and rolled forward
- and despite being maybe even a little low, it’s not worth sacrificing accuracy to set it higher.

Textbook form by one of the best to ever play the game.

A volleyball first for us and extremely rare event!!

During the local one of our u14 players in pool play, in a game to 28 with gusts of up to 20mph won the game 28-0 🤯.

This was not a forfeit. I wanted to bring attention to this not just to send props, but to show what consistency can do. I have never been a part of a game or heard of a game that has gone even 21-0. Not at the amateur level, and not at the pro level. Undoubtedly, this get tougher as the opponents gets tougher, but to serve 28 points straight with the wind and against the wind rarely happens if ever, let alone consecutively.
