Rolling out your glutes will not stop the clenching if you never solve why it started

Your body grips your glutes when it feels unstable, usually because your weight has drifted forward, ribs flared, pelvis tipped, weight sitting in your toes

Releasing that tension feels good for a minute, but without a new way to feel supported, your body just goes right back to gripping

Your hamstrings are meant to help control your pelvis so your glutes are not stuck holding everything together alone

Feet on a bench, hips and knees at 90, heels pressing down
That is where the new strategy starts

Heels heavy
Hamstrings on
Ribs stacked

Stop fighting the tension
Start giving your body a better job to do đź’Ş

You say you want results… but are you willing to change the way you train?

Biomechanics isn’t about finding a quick fix or doing one “corrective” exercise and expecting everything to change overnight.

It’s about retraining patterns your body has spent YEARS creating.

Learning how to create tension.
Learning how to rotate.
Learning how to connect your body as ONE.
And then strengthening those new patterns until they become your new normal.

That takes time. Effort. Repetition. Consistency.

Some days the progress is obvious. Other days, it’s simply feeling a movement you couldn’t feel before.

But those small changes add up.

If you want different results, you have to be willing to train differently, think differently, and give your body the time to adapt.

Put in the work. Trust the process. Keep building. 🔥

Don’t underestimate kneeling work. 👀🔥

By taking the feet out of the movement, we can put more attention on what’s happening through the hips, pelvis, and trunk.

The goal here is to get the adductors, glutes, and core working together while we load, rotate, and control movement.

Less about isolating one muscle, more about teaching the body to create tension and move as ONE.

Connect it. Control it. Then load it. 💪🏽

Kneeling work hits DIFFERENT when you know what you’re connecting. 🔥

This isn’t just a core workout. We’re bringing the core, adductors, and glutes together to create tension, stability, and control through the entire body.

Your adductors aren’t just “inner thigh muscles.” They play a huge role in pelvic stability and work alongside the core and glutes to help control the hips and pelvis.

Kneeling takes the feet out of the equation and gives you a chance to really FEEL those connections.

Core locked in. Adductors engaged. Glutes working. Body connected.

Train the connection, then build the strength. 💪🏽

Your body tells me everything before you say a word

Counter leaning means your body is searching for stability it is not finding internally

Toes lifting in a squat means poor stability in your foundation can affect everything up the chain

Constantly adjusting in your seat means you cannot find a comfortable position because your support system is off

Gripping your glutes when you stand often means your pelvic floor is tight and your body is compensating

These are patterns I see often, especially with hypermobility, when your joints are more flexible your body works overtime trying to create stability from somewhere else, and that somewhere else is usually your pelvic floor

Your body is not broken, it is asking for the right support 👏🏽
