Results from the 2026 JCWGA Match Play Tournament held at Sharp Park GC (7-13-26 - 7- 17-26)
After 18 holes of qualifying on Monday, we set up the matches for the Red Division as well as the Silver Division. To be in the Silver Division, a golfer had to be at least 70 years old/or a current handicap of 30 or more. We had 10 golfers in the Red Division and 16 golfers in the Silver Division.
Red Division: We went with the format of having two Play-In matches on Tuesday. The golfers in the 7th position thru the 10th position would golf in the Play-In Matches, and the two winners would join the six players in the flight to play the match play portion of the event on Wednesday.
The Silver Division had 16 players for two flights of 8 players in each flight. The top 8 qualifiers would be in the Championship Flight and the next 8 qualifiers would form the 1st Flight. The Silver Division played their 1st round of match play on Tuesday, while the Red Division had two play-in matches.
