BASEBALLU PHILLY YOUTH … WE’RE BACK!

We are officially back and getting after it! This year, we have 3 teams ready to put in the work this fall.
•
Our first week of practice was all about the basics and fundamentals… the building blocks that make great players.
•
👀 Eye coordination
💪 Med ball strength & movement
⚾️ Leads & baserunning
🥎 Pitchers working on pickoffs
🧠 Learning the game and understanding the “why”
•
For our rising 11U group, we spent time working on leads and having our pitchers get comfortable with their pickoff moves.
•
This is what BaseballU is about. We’re not just throwing kids on a field and playing games. We’re building a foundation, teaching the fundamentals, and giving these boys the framework they need to continue developing.
•
And the best part? They’re picking it up FAST. 🔥
•
A lot of learning, a lot of work, and a lot of baseball ahead.
•
We’re excited for this fall. Let’s get to work!

⚾️ 9 DAYS AWAY! ⚾️

YEAR 2 OF BASEBALL U PHILLY YOUTH IS GETTING UNDERWAY!

We are officially 9 days away from our first practice, and we couldn’t be more excited to get this thing rolling!

Emails were sent out a couple days ago with information on joining our GroupMe. Please make sure you are in it, as I’ll be sending out uniform information and other important updates there as well.

We’re ready to get back on the field, put in the work, and have some fun along the way!

Rest up, boys… Year 2 is about to be something special!

Good evening, everyone!

First, I want to say thank you to every player and family who came out to try out for BaseballU Philly Youth. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and interest in being part of our program.

Our rosters have now been finalized, and I will be sending emails beginning tonight and continuing into tomorrow. Thank you all for your patience throughout the process.

As many of you know, I also coach the Falls Little League 12U District Team. The boys are on a great run right now, and a lot of my time and focus has been with them over the past several weeks. I really appreciate everyone’s understanding while we worked through the tryout process.

Thank you again for your support and for trusting BaseballU Philly Youth. I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to get started with all of our teams!

Happy Father’s Day to All the Amazing Dads in Our Baseball Family

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepdads, mentors, and father figures who make this game so much more than baseball.

To the dads who never miss a practice, who spend countless evenings throwing batting practice, sh****ng fly balls, and having one more catch in the backyard, thank you. The lessons you teach go far beyond the diamond. Through your patience, encouragement, and example, you’re helping shape confident young athletes and even better young people.

Baseball has always been about more than wins and losses. It’s about the conversations on the ride home, the memories made under the lights, the early mornings at the ballpark, and the simple joy of sharing a game together. Some of the most meaningful moments happen during a quiet game of catch, where life lessons are passed from one generation to the next, one throw at a time.

To every dad in our organization and every father out there who uses baseball as a way to connect with their children, thank you for investing your time, your energy, and your heart. The memories you’re creating today will last a lifetime.

From all of us at Baseball U Philly Youth, we wish you a very Happy Father’s Day. May your day be filled with family, laughter, and maybe even a game of catch.

Today we remember and honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸⚾

As we enjoy time with family, friends, and baseball this Memorial Day, we also take a moment to reflect on the brave men and women who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

From all of us at BaseballU Philly Youth, thank you to those who served and especially to those who never made it home. Your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Think you have what it takes to compete, develop, and grow with one of the top youth baseball programs around? Now’s your chance! BaseballU Philly Youth is holding tryouts for our 8U-12U teams and we’re looking for dedicated players ready to take their game to the next level.

Our program focuses on player development, teamwork, competitive baseball, and creating a positive environment where athletes can succeed both on and off the field. Come train with experienced coaches and compete alongside hardworking ballplayers all season long!
